The Brookhaven Technical Rescue Task Force held its Tower/Lead Climb Drill on September 21, 2008.

Task Force Manager and Hagerman Team Leader Randy Miller, along with Assistant Team Leader John Tew ran the drill. It began will a lecture at the Hagerman Fire Department and concluded with a rope drill on an abandoned radio tower at the Suffolk County Fire Academy.

Suffolk County Fire Academy staff stood by as Safety, since the Brookhaven Technical Rescue Task Force was training on their property. There were no injuries.

Brookhaven Technical Rescue Task Force Liaison Bill Xikis and Task Force Leader Joe DiBernardo were also present.

This was an awesome drill!
